Cougars advance on Large’s goal in overtime

After losing their last game and finishing as WPIAL runner-up for the second straight season, the Charleroi boys soccer team got back on the winning track with a PIAA Class 1A first-round win – the perfect birthday present for Cougars head coach Jon Ducoli. Arlo McIntyre scored in the first half to give the Cougars (20-1) a 1-0 lead at the half. After Richland (13-5-1) got the equalizer in the second, the game headed to overtime.
