Monessen: Alumisource measure approved

A motion regarding a grant awarded to Alumisource in 2020 was questioned by Monessen residents and council members at Monday’s meeting, as they weren’t previously aware of its existence. The motion, which passed unanimously, called for entering into a cooperation agreement with the Economic Growth Connection of Westmoreland County to finalize the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program Grant for the Alumisource facility renovation project.
