Grants available to reduce gun violence

Eligible organizations can apply for more than $40 million in grant funding through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency to help reduce gun violence. Last week, the PCCD’s School Safety and Security Committee approved a request to open an application period for a new round of Violence Intervention and Prevention grants, which will prioritize projects focused on effective intervention and prevention strategies to stop gun and group-related violence.
