Zombek, Warriors hold off Trinity

Elizabeth Forward outscored Trinity, 17-9, in the fourth quarter to rally and hold on for a 43-40 non-section win Tuesday. Michelle Jellison’s 3-pointer with 4:34 remaining pulled Elizabeth Forward even before Chloe Zombek scored two straight baskets to put the Warriors in front. The Hillers (1-1) were able to pull within a point on three different occasions in the final minutes, but clutch free throws from Zombek and Alyssa Terza helped seal up the win.
