Charleroi park renamed to honor Robert Whiten Sr.

Woodland Avenue Park in Charleroi has been renamed in honor of longtime resident and firefighter Robert Whiten Sr. On Tuesday, Whiten Sr. gathered at the park with his family, fellow firefighters and elected officials from the borough to unveil a sign renaming the park in his honor for his many years of dedicated service to the borough.
