Attempted homicide among charges after shooting incident at bar

A Jefferson Hills man shot by police after allegedly firing shots into a bar in Monongahela over the weekend is charged with attempted homicide. Jonathan James Toth, 49, faces seven counts each of criminal attempted homicide, recklessly endangering another person and aggravated assault – attempting to cause bodily harm with a deadly weapon, four counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, two counts of criminal mischief – damage to property and one count of prohibited possession of a firearm.
