Monessen Center for Active Adults hosts Yellow Dot clinic
PennDOT partnered with the Highway Safety Network and AAA East Central to host a Yellow Dot Clinic Wednesday at the Monessen Center for Active Adults. The Yellow Dot program is designed to assist citizens who have been in a crash and are unable to communicate for themselves. Participants at the Yellow Dot Clinic were guided through the process of filling out documents and taking photos. They will then receive a Yellow Dot sticker to place in their vehicle’s rear window. This sticker alerts first responders to check their glove compartments for vital medical information. , Jaci Brice, project coordinator for Highway Safety Network, talks to Alice Caird of Monessen about the program.
