West Chester upsets No. 9 Cal

California (Pa.) men’s basketball coach Danny Sancomb summed up Wednesday’s game as simply as he could. “We were terrible on defense,” Sancomb said. West Chester hit 16 3-pointers, shooting 52% from behind the arc, to help upset the No. 9 Vulcans, 100-97, in a PSAC Crossover game at the Convocation Center.
