White Oak will vote on tax hike

White Oak council voted Monday to reopen the 2024 budget, which will lead to consideration of a 1-mill tax increase. “The proposed tax increase is due to depleting our fund balance,” council member Jason Russell said. “We need to close the gap between the revenue and expenditures.”
