Leps hold off Warriors for section win

It wasn’t pretty and it wasn’t easy, but the Belle Vernon Area boys basketball team managed to fend off visiting Elizabeth Forward for a 63-60 win in Section 3-4A play Tuesday night. The Leopards (8-4, 3-2), who led for a majority of the Mon Valley clash, broke a 55-55 tie with a late 6-0 run before holding off the Warriors down the stretch.
