White Oak offers advice for residents experiencing garbage pickup issues

White Oak officials issued a statement Monday detailing how residents should submit complaints about trash pickup, which has been an issue in the borough for the last few months. “Council and Mayor are aware of your frustrations related to missed collections, receptacles not completely emptied and recyclables being placed in the trash trucks during the last several months with the collection of your trash and recyclables,” Councilwoman Joelle Harbert said. “Big’s Sanitation is under a new ownership group, and we are experiencing a transitional problem. We recognize that improvements are needed.”
