BVA students recognized for achievements

Students were the highlight of Monday night’s Belle Vernon Area school board meeting. Before directors got down to official business, they took time to honor some of the district’s best and brightest. Students at all grade levels were recognized for their spirit, work ethic, kindness and other attributes both in and out of the classroom, including three local Eagle Scouts who completed projects to benefit their communities in the past year.
