R. Geraldine ‘Jeri’ Drake – Belle Vernon

R. Geraldine “Jeri” Drake, 89, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, Pa. She was born Nov. 7, 1934, in Donora, the daughter of the late Andrew Morgan and the late Margaret Hardon Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Francis “Nick” Drake, in 2008; and a grandson, Jason M. Drake in 2002; a brother, Thomas A. Morgan; and a sister, Margaret Jean Beck. Jeri was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and charismatic businesswoman. During her life, she achieved professional benchmarks by being awarded numerous honors and awards. She afforded people the opportunity to make their dreams come true by finding them the perfect home. Jeri will be sadly missed by the people whose lives she touched by her unyielding nature and relentless drive for success. Her ambition made her a true icon in the Mon Valley business community. Surviving to cherish her memory are her three sons, Mark F. Drake and wife Patti of Monessen, Randall E. Drake and wife Lisa of Monessen, and Jason N. Drake and wife Allison of Rostraver Township; two daughters, Pamela M. Drake of Belle Vernon, and Heidi S. Sodora and husband Michael of Port Vue; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Private services and interment were held at the request of her family. Arrangements were entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900.
