Horror film zooms past goal in crowdfunding campaign

“Grind,” an upcoming cosmic horror comedy movie from McKeesport director Mark Cantu, finished its Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign this week, garnering $21,500 more than its initial funding goal. The crowdfunding campaign kicked off Dec. 29 and concluded Wednesday, as the horror flick raised $46,525 in total. “Grind” surpassed its initial funding goal of $25,000 in less than a week.
