Late McKeesport councilman recalled at park rededication

Despite the chilly temperatures and an unrelenting rainfall, a crowd of about 40 people gathered Saturday along the Youghiogheny River to rededicate McKeesport’s Richard J. Gergely Riverfront Park. Local officials and community leaders joined with the Gergely family to mark the 40th anniversary of the death of Richard J. Gergely on March 9, 1984.
