Evan Anderson
Evan Anderson, a loving fiancé, son and brother peacefully passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 28, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., with his family at his side. Evan was born on Dec. 22, 1995, to Robert and Lisa Anderson. He grew up in a close-knit family in Franklin, Pa., and later graduated from Charleroi Area High School. After completing his education, Evan worked in various careers including oil and gas technology and most recently, nursing. His greatest goal with his nursing education was to one day co-run a clinic together with his brother, Eric, where they could help other adults who struggle with the daily challenges of ADHD, anxiety and depression. Beyond his professional achievements, Evan was a kind-hearted and compassionate person. He had a deep love for his family and was ready to serve the needs of those around him selflessly and without hesitation. His selflessness and willingness to lend a helping hand were admired by all who knew him. He was known for his passion for learning new things and his ability to create laughter out of the most unusual places — all who knew him, knew his unique comedic nature. In his free time, Evan enjoyed playing golf, reading self-help and textbooks, learning trades and crafts on YouTube, listening to podcasts and seeking his next adrenaline rush. Evan best described his life like this: “I built houses, ponds, apartments, condos, yards, gardens, gas-wells, worked on golf courses, and saved lives from CPR. I drove fast cars, motorcycles, quads, dirt bikes and boats. I hunted, hiked, ran, lifted … and found the woman of my life.” Evan lived a full life, was a bright light to all and his presence brought warmth and comfort to those in need. Evan is survived by his beloved fiancée, Madison Livengood; his parents, Robert and Lisa Anderson; his brother, Eric Anderson and his wife, Lauren; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the countless lives he impacted throughout his lifetime. Friends will be received at RHOME FUNERAL HOME, Monessen, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2024, followed by a funeral service to honor Evan’s life, officiated by the Rev. Michael Crookston at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (add.org/donate), supporting adults who struggle with the daily challenges of ADHD, anxiety and depression. We invite friends and acquaintances to join us in celebrating Evan’s life and offering support to the family during this difficult time. Evan will forever be remembered for his infectious laughter, kindness and his love for his family. May his bright spirit live on in light, love, and peace.
