Election roundup: Ward, Gergely among local uncontested winners

The Mon Valley will have several contested races in the Nov. 5 general election, but some incumbents who are seeking reelection had no competition in Tuesday’s primary. Barring any successful write-in campaigns, those candidates will retain their seats in November’s election.
