Eleanor L. Bozik, 88, of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in Premier Washington County Health Center. She was born on June 25, 1935, in Monessen, daughter of the late Walter and Sophia Miyka Lewgood. She was a member of the former St. Hyacinth’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, game shows, cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates, but most of all spending time with family and friends. She was a manager for many years at Montgomery Ward. She is survived by her son, Gary R. Bozik of North Charleroi; granddaughters, Kelly (Joe) Pantalo and Dana (Jon) Carter; great-grandchildren, Joey and Carter Pantalo; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Bozik; daughter-in-law, Lynn Bozik; brothers, Stanley and Tony Lewgood; and sisters, Helen Ducar and Genevieve Kornosky. Private services were entrusted to DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101.
