Chartiers-Houston tunes up Serra Catholic before playoffs

The Serra Catholic softball team wanted a playoff tune-up at the end of the regular season.

The Section 2-2A champions got exactly that and then some Wednesday afternoon when they faced a stiff test on the road against Section 2-1A champions Chartiers-Houston.

The Buccaneers were able to get the key hits with runners on base and were led by the superb pitching of Meadow Ferri as the Eagles fell to C-H 8-0 in non-section play.
