McKeesport Area: Arrest policies questioned for school police

Take Action Advocacy Group CEO Fawn Walker-Montgomery asked the McKeesport school board Thursday about the legal authority of school police officers on district grounds.

Walker-Montgomery said her organization receives complaints “all the time” from parents about arrests made by school police.

“Some of these kids are in fifth grade or younger, or some of them are high school age,” Walker-Montgomery said.
