Myrtle Belle Heckman Fetterman
ELIZABETH
Myrtle Belle Heckman Fetterman, 92, of Elizabeth, went to Heaven on Thursday, May 16, 2024, and is being held by her prec ious Savior, Jesus. She’s joyfully reunited with a son and her husband, Lee. Her wisdom, smile, prayers, love and humor will be missed by her children and grandchildren, their families and all of her relatives and many friends. Myrtle lived her life believing that Jesus is the only way to salvation and the only hope of eternal life. The Bible says, because God loves the world, “He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him” (John 3:16-17). She dedicated her life to share with others that God sent his Son to earth to save all from sin. Jesus said, “l am the resurrection and life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying” (John 11:25). Her greatest desire was that others would come to know the peace that comes from trusting in Jesus, our Savior. “My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever” (Psalms 73:26). “l wish I could put in your minds and hearts how wonderful a life lived totally for the Lord can be. I only know my future is in Heaven, and because of Jesus, that will be glorious.” All my love, Myrtle. A celebration of Myrtle’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Miracle Ridge Baptist Church in Elizabeth. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to JAMES C.
