Matthew P. Hines, 42, of Monessen, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. He was born on May 8, 1982, in Denver, Colo., a son of the late Barbara L. Kellner Hines and William E. Hines Jr. who survives and resides in Monessen. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Hines Sr. and Kathryn Hines Rubino; uncles, Richard Hines, Ron Luci and Jim Williams. Surviving are his wife, Samantha Burnham Hines of Raymond Maine; his father, William E. Hines Jr. of Monessen; aunts, Kathy Luci and Beth Hines Williams, both of Monessen, and Barbara Hines Westfall and husband Clarence of Georgia; and several cousins. He will be missed by all who knew him. Private funeral services have been entrusted to the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen.
