Rostraver Class of 59’ to meet for lunch
Registration and kickoff for the summer reading program, “Let the Adventure Begin” will be held all day Saturday at the Monongahela Area Library. Stop at the library and fill out a registration or call 724-258-5409.

Summer reading will include weekly programs and/or activities for ages 2-5, ages 6-12, teens and adults. The program begins 3 p.m.
The summer reading kickoff starts 3 p.m. June 21 with the summer reading magician during the Monongahela Farmers Market at Chess Park. The program will end with the summer reading extravaganza that includes all Washington County libraries at Mingo Creek County Park on July 27.
Rostraver High School Class of 1959 will hold its monthly luncheon 1 p.m. Wednesday at the new Belle Tavern, 1713 Rostraver Road, Rostraver Township.
175 anniversary community picnic dinner to be held in California
The California United Methodist Church will celebrate California Borough’s 175th anniversary with a free community picnic dinner 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Hollywood pavilion, 313 Third St. The pavilion is one block to the left of the church. Please bring a covered dish to share. Hot dogs will be provided by the church and drinks by Key Bank. The dinner will be followed by a walking tour of historical sites downtown.
Donora library board to meet Wednesday
The board of directors of the Donora Public Library will hold a meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library, 510 Meldon Ave.
2023 MAWT water quality reports available
The Municipal Authority of Washington Township’s 2023 Water Quality Report is now available online at https://bit.ly/3yvReni. The link will be listed on customer water bills. A copy of the report is on the water page of the authority’s website at www.mawt.net. Paper copies are available in post office lobbies served by the authority, Center on the Hill and Fayette County Housing Authority’s Marion Villa Office. Customers who would like a paper copy of the report mailed to them may call the office at 724-929-3370 or stop to pick up a copy at the municipal building, 1390 Fayette Ave., Belle Vernon.
