• Mitch’s Bail Bonds manager Ryan Encapera has become a master at putting together a winning lineup. When his scheduled starting pitcher, Brian Fisher, was unavailable, Encapera was left with only nine players to pit against Company G. Despite the handicap, Mitch’s Jailbirds scored seven runs in the fifth and sixth innings to win 10-5, upping their season record to 6-0. Encapera said, “The key was that we have a few really good, veteran players mixed in there with the young guys.” With Company G leading 5-0 in the fifth, Encapera singled and Russ Ritenour and Charleroi’s Matt Szersen each walked to load the bases. Pitcher Casey Teagarden also drew a walk to score the first run. Adam Jacko then had a two-run single to start the rally.
