Ted and Cheryl Marchich of Fallowfield Township are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary today. The couple married June 19, 1999, on their farm by the late Rev. Jim Linn.
Ted is a retired truck driver, who was an owner/operator. Cheryl is employed as a private duty nurse.
The couple raised two children: Amanda Locy of New Eagle and Brandon Locy of Fallowfield Township. They are the grandparents of Matthaius Locy.
Ted and Cheryl were married on horseback in a meadow on their farm. Some of those who attended came in classic cars and trucks.
Matron of honor was Cindy Newman, who rode in her “iron horse,” her car that she decorated with flowers. She also made the wedding bouquet and other arrangements.
There were several dogs and children in attendance as well. Friends and family came from as far away as Virginia.
The reception was held at the pavilion of Eddie Thomas and featured a barbecue buffet, which was open to all.
