Monthly farmers market open in California
The California farmers market will return from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Hollywood Pavilion, 313 Third St., California. Each month, residents and visitors will be able to shop farm fresh produce, local baked goods, eggs, food, and more while being treated to live music.
Eucharistic adoration at St. Andrew, Donora site
Eucharistic Adoration will be held 9 a.m. to midnight Friday at St. Andrew the Apostle Donora church, Second Street Extension and Park Manor Road in Donora.
Monongahela Senior Center to host party Friday
The Monongahela Senior Center, 102 W. Main St., will have a Fourth of July party from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday. There will be an $8 fee to cover the DJ, food, snacks, drinks, prizes and gifts.
The center is also in need of kitchen volunteers drivers and runners, even if only for a short amount of time.

Car show to be held at the circle in Perryopolis
The Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department will have a Car Show on the Circle from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Included will be the show, food, trophies and basket auction. A pinup contest will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Register vehicles between 1 and 1:45 p.m. Cost is $10 per car.

A barbecued pork chop dinner will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Co. No. 2, 10 Main St., (rear). The menu will comprise two barbecued pork chops, baked potato, baked beans and coleslaw. Dinners are $15 each.

July 4 celebration set in McKeesport
The community is invited to celebrate the Fourth of July in Renziehausen Park with the a concert by Jeff Jimerson and Airborne 7 p.m. Thursday.
The performance is part of the Summer Concert Series at the Lions Bandshell in Renziehausen Park, sponsored by the McKeesport Lions Club, Allegheny Regional Asset District, Mayor Mike Cherepko and the City of McKeesport. Fireworks take place after dark. Admission and parking are free.
Vinoski Winery Independence Day kickoff
Vinoski Winery’s Independence Day Kickoff featuring Flashback will begin 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The event at the Rostraver Township castle property will feature live music by The Altered Egos, food and fireworks.
There is a $20 charitable parking fee, which will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

Fourth of July fireworks, and Railroad Street Fair set in Monongahela
The Monongahela Area Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Monongahela Fourth of July celebration and fireworks display at the Monongahela Aquatorium on Thursday. Gates open at 4 p.m. with food trucks, vendors and games. The fireworks finale is set for 9:30 p.m. Rain date is July 5.
Coinciding with the chamber celebration at the Monongahela Aquatorium will be the Sixth Annual Railroad Street Fair in downtown Monongahela, sponsored by My Main St., and the Monongahela Main Street Program. The festival will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Third Street. The event will feature art demonstrations/live mural paintings, musicians and performers, booths featuring local photographers, horses from the Gottselig Farm and The Declaration of Independence will be read aloud at 6 p.m.
Independence Day celebration set for Saturday in Bentleyville
Bentleyville’s annual Independence Day celebration will start 10 a.m. Saturday at Richardson Park, 315 Frye Ave., Bentleyville.
The event will feature a DJ, petting zoo from 6 to 7:30 p.m., children’s activities, food vendors and crafters from 2 to 8 p.m.
The inaugural Bentleyville Independence Day car show will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. The first 100 cars receive dash plaques and trophies will be awarded. No off-road vehicles.
