Rostraver Gathering set for Aug. 24
Teen Night will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Monongahela Area Library, 813 W. Main St. The night is geared to teens ages 13 and older. Attendees will do crafts, games and try new things. Contact the library for this month’s program and register at 724-2585409.

The 21st annual Rostraver Gathering will be held Aug. 24 at the Rostraver Central Fire Hall, 1100 Fells Church Road in Rostraver Township. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.
Anyone who attended or taught in any Rostraver Township school for any length of time is invited to attend as well as their guests.
A catered meal will be served following a short program at noon. Cost is $35 per person before Aug. 10 and $40 at the door with no reservation. Saints Joachim and Anne to host ‘How not to be Scammed’ presentation
Saints Joachim and Anne Catholic Parish Christian Mothers will host a special presentation “How not to be Scammed” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Church-Archangel Hall, 101 McLay Drive, Elizabeth. There is no cost to attend, and light refreshments will be provided.
