Bellmar Class of 1960 to meet for lunch
“Journey to the Promised Land” vacation Bible school will be held 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at River of Life Church, 905 state Route 906 south, corner of First and Rose, in Webster. On Sunday, the kids will take over the regularly scheduled service, starting at 10:30 a.m., with Bible school at 12:30 p.m.

The Bible school will consist of the three sessions of summer fun with children’s minister, Matthew Saylor, singing songs, playing games, eating snacks and experiencing Bible stories in fun and accessible ways.
Bellmar High School Class of 1960 will meet for lunch at noon on Saturday at Smitty’s Grill, lower Speers.
Charleroi legion to hold family picnic
American Legion Post 22, Charleroi, will have its family picnic from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Fallowfield Elementary Park. All current posts, American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Riders and family members are invited.

Totally 80’s to entertain at next McKeesport Lions concert

Belle Vernon VFC to sell barbecued pork chops
The Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Co. No. 2 will have a barbecued pork chop dinner from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at 10 Main St. Dine-in or takeout will be available. Debit cards are accepted. For takeouts, call 724-929-5511.
The dinners include two barbecued pork chops, baked potato, baked beans and coleslaw for $15.
Rostraver library to host Harry Potter Day event
Harry Potter Day, sponsored by Sesar Industrial- the Sesar family, will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Rostraver Public Library, 700 Plaza Drive, Rostraver Township.
No registration is required, all ages welcome, while supplies last, costumes are encouraged. Trivia will be held at 2:45 p.m.

The second Pie and Praise night will be held 6 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church, 601 W. Main St., Monongahela.
The traditional evening will include hymns and fellowship followed by pies, coffee and tea.

“Going for Gold” vacation Bible school will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Miracle Ridge Baptist Church, 4102 Miracle Ridge Road, Elizabeth.

Penn Highlands to host Liquid Vibes truck
Liquid Vibes, caravan cafe truck with coffee, hot and cold tea, smoothies, boba (bubble) tea drink will be outside the Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital from 7 to 11 a.m. Aug. 5, 12 and 26.
The event is a fundraiser for Penn Highlands Mon Valley Auxiliary.

Apprenticeship Leadership program resumes Thursday in Monessen
The Apprenticeship Leadership and Friendship through Fellowship program will resume Thursday and is held each Thursday at Christian Life Ministries, 1201 Patton Ave., Monessen.
The Apprenticeship Leadership program begins at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be held at noon. If transportation is needed, call 724-7973794. Purpose of the program is to provide an opportunity for the community to come together and fellowship in unity and share a free lunch together.
