On social media, many people are mocking former President Donald Trump’s suggestion that Vice President Kamala Harris started playing up her Black ancestry for political expedience. Trump insisted, among other absurdities, that Harris “happened to turn Black” recently. Comedian Roy Wood Jr. kicked off the surge of appropriately sarcastic comments with the hashtag #WhenITurned-Black, asking commenters to identify the moment they “turned.”
