Andrew M. Vitovic – Rostraver Township
ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP Andrew M. Vitovic, 91, of Rostraver Township, passed away on Thursday, Aug 8, 2024. He was born on Oct. 12, 1932, in Monessen, the son of the late Andrew J. and Zora M. (Gosdonovich) Vitovic. Andy was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, lifetime member of the NRA, Pennsylvania Gun Collectors Association, American Legion Post 659, Monessen Croatian Club, Star Junction Rod and Gun Club and a graduate of Monessen High School. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army Tank Company 23rd Division Infantry Regiment. He worked for Eazor Trucking and PennDOT and was a jack of all trades as he was a handyman. He is survived by his daughter, Lauri (Terry E.) Aston of Ruffs Dale; two grandsons, Stephen A. Galaski of Monaca, Pa., and Nicholas Mayconich of Wyandotta, Okla.; great-granddaughter, Allison Eva Galaski; sister-in-law, Carol Vitovic; cousins, Ed, Tim, Bob, Carol and Mary Kay; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Audrey (Bleier) Vitovic; and brother Karl Vitovic. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, in the funeral home with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
