Long Branch Sportsmen to meet Thursday
There will be no Ladies Bible study and fellowship on Monday due to Labor Day at Journey by Grace Church, Rostraver Township. The Bible study and fellowship resumes 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 9 and will continue Mondays throughout the year. Ladies wishing to attend can come on any Monday.

McKeesport Al-Anon group meets Tuesdays
The McKeesport Al-Anon group will meet noon Tuesday at Beulah Park United Methodist Church on Grandview Avenue.
Al-Anon is a support and educational group for relatives and friends of problem drinkers. The group meets Tuesdays unless otherwise noted.
Rostraver Class of 1959 meeting for lunch
Rostraver High School Class of 1959 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Randall’s in Perryopolis.
Members of the Long Branch Sportsmen’s Club will meet 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the club house, 44 Sphar St.
Mon Valley Nurses to begin new season
The Mon Valley Nurses Association will host its first meeting of the 2024-25 year at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hoss’s Steak and Sea House, Rostraver Township. All members are encouraged to attend.
White Oak Seniors meeting for coffee
The White Oak Senior Activities group will meet for coffee hour 9:30 a.m. Thursday and Sept. 19 at the White Oak Community Center, 1798 Lower Heckman Road.
Final Plum Street concert slated in Elizabeth
The final concert of the summer series will feature Rewound at 6 p.m. Thursday on Plum Street in Elizabeth.

D&D Adventurers to meet at Monongahela library
The D&D Adventurer’s Guild will meet from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Monongahela Area Library, 813 W. Main St., Monongahela.
All returning and new players are welcome for a night of mischief and mayhem set to the 5E gaming system.
Care & Share to hold International Day of Charity
International Day of Charity (get a free item with a purchase to give to someone) will be held Thursday and Friday at the Care & Share thrift store, located at the California United Methodist Church, 227 Third St.
Hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
