The newly-formed North Belle Vernon Historical Society held its monthly meeting Tuesday at the North Belle Vernon Borough.
Discussion centered around how best to capture and portray the borough’s origins and development into one of the Mon Valley’s more desirable communities. Plans include compiling and contacting individuals who can contribute photos, personal recollections or other forms of historical significance, which can eventually be incorporated into an accurate portrayal of the borough, its inhabitants, and progress as a volume available to the public.
At this stage, any encouragement and assistance would be greatly appreciated. At each subsequent monthly meeting, results of our efforts will be made available to the public.
