Yough n’ Roll/Party on the Trail to be held in Elizabeth Township
The Mon/Yough Trail Council is holding the 30th annual Yough n’ Roll and Party on the Trail on Saturday at the Boston Trail access in Elizabeth Township.
The day begins with a choice of a 40-mile ride at 7:30 a.m., 20-mile ride at 8:30 a.m. or 4-mile ride at 9 a.m. The rides all begin and end at the Boston Trail Access of the Greater Allegheny Passage.
Following the rides, the Yough n’ Roll Party will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boston Trail Access.

Ringgold wrestling will hold a hoagie sale from 11 a.m. to sellout Saturday at Dierken’s Pharmacy parking lot, across from Sheetz in Monongahela, and at the Finleyville Auto Service.
Anchor hoagies will be sold for $9 for Italian and $10 for turkey.
Rostraver Sportsmen to meet Monday
The Rostraver Sportsmen and Conservation Association, 539 Cedar Creek Road, Rostraver Township, will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

BV Library Book Club to meet Wednesday
The Belle Vernon Public Library’s Book Club will meet 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to discuss Kristin Hannah’s novel, “The Women,” a story of a nurse during the Vietnam War. New members or casual guests are welcome. Those who want to join a book club but cannot meet in the evenings are invited call the library to discuss options. EF chorus invites new members for its 2024 Christmas concert
The Elizabeth Forward Area Community Chorus is extending an invitation to all local singers to join the choir as they prepare for the 2024 Christmas concert, titled “Radio Noel: A Christmas Music Spectacular.” The concerts are scheduled for Nov. 22, 23, and 24 and will feature a mix of classical repertoire and popular Christmas music and carols, presented in the format of a live radio theater broadcast.
Composer, conductor and longtime Forward Township resident Chaz Bowers is interim director of the choir.
Rehearsals will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sundays. Singers of all experience levels are welcome to join, regardless of residency. Monongahela Senior Center to host Halloween party
The Monongahela Senior Center, 102 W. Main St., Monongahela, is planning a Halloween/ birthday party from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct.
25. Those wishing to attend can stop in at the center or be added to the reservation list so planners will know how much food to purchase. There will be an $8 charge to help with the cost.
Contests will be held for best costume, door prizes will be awarded, there will be games and prizes, 50/50, tip boards, a DJ, food, snacks and drinks, all included.
