Some water lines will be replaced in Charleroi

Under a federal mandate, the ABC has started identifying lines to eventually get rid of all its lead pipes.

Customers of the Authority of the Borough of Charleroi may have recently gotten a letter in the mail regarding the material their water lines are made of.

To comply with a federal mandate, ABC is working to identify — and eventually replace — lead lines throughout the system.
