Light-Up Night rings in the holidays at Penn Highlands

Children opened the hospital’s celebration by flipping a ceremonial switch.

Penn Highlands Mon Valley hosted its 38th annual Light-Up Night on the hospital’s Carroll Township campus Monday evening.

Every year, the hospital holds a contest for employees to enter the names of their children and grandchildren ages 5-10 to have the honor of lifting the switch to turn on the lights. Two children are selected each year.
