McKenna Shields, Lilli Lee named Charthene Club girls of the month
The Charthene Club of Charleroi announced Charleroi Area High School seniors McKenna Shields and Lilli Lee were named the November and December girls of the month, respectively.
The Charthene Club of Charleroi announced Charleroi Area High School seniors McKenna Shields and Lilli Lee were named the November and December girls of the month, respectively.
McKenna is an honor roll student, member of the National Honor Society, executive committee, treasurer of student council, a REACH member and plays varsity volleyball. She is a recipient of the Seton Hill Women in Science and Mathematics Award and the Planting Science Star Project Award. She has volunteered in her community by participating in bring your kid to work day, cleanup day in Charleroi, as a judge for the CAEC Stem competition and a supervisor at the CAEC luau. The daughter of Cristy and Steven Shields of Dunlevy, McKenna is employed at The Back Porch restaurant. She plans to attend college to study radiologic technology.
Lilli is a member of the executive committee, student council president, plays varsity volleyball and is a member of the yearbook club. She has volunteered in her community by participating in The Little Great Race, Stuff-The-Bus and at spaghetti dinners for the New Eagle Volunteer Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary. The daughter of Stacey and Michael Lee of Speers, Lilli is employed by Superbodies by Nat. She plans to attend a four-year university to obtain a degree in business marketing.
