Donna Lee Linko – Star Junction

Donna Lee Linko, 70, of Star Junction, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at her daught e r ’ s home. Born in McK eesport on July 24, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Genevieve Gobel Ilgenfritz. Donna spent much of her life in Rostraver Township and Star Junction. She was married to William J. Linko Jr. for 54 years, and together they built a life full of love and family. Donna enjoyed a long and dedicated career, managing Colortyme in Greensburg for over 20 years, followed by 13 years at Walmart in Belle Vernon before retiring in 2016. She later worked part-time at Speedway in Perryopolis before retiring completely. Donna was known for her quick wit, her warm heart and her ability to make friends wherever she went. Donna had a special love for local bingo games, but what she loved most was bragging about her grandchildren, of whom she was incredibly proud! She is survived by her loving husband, William; son, William J. (Aparna) Linko III of Oakdale; daughter, Kerry Ann (Todd) Power of Perryopolis; five cherished grandchildren, Brandon M. Linko, Ryan A. Power, Katelyn A. Power, Dev W. Linko and Shaun W. Linko; great-grandson, Grayson M. Linko; brothers, James Ilgenfritz and Richard Ilgenfritz; and sister, Sandy Richie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Ilgenfritz; and sisters, Betty Lou Sawders and Delores Snyder. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at JAMES C. Rodolfo Mejia presiding. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe.
