The spirit of Christmas is alive and well in the Mon Valley, where local churches, civic organizations, volunteer firefighters, police, students, educators and many volunteers in our communities are working tirelessly to provide meals, companionship, gifts, and a festive atmosphere to those in need during the holiday season. For the past month, we’ve been sharing these stories of community togetherness and each event showcases the power of connection, the joy of giving, and the importance of sharing moments with those around us, reinforcing the idea of community during this festive season.
