Peter J. Kordistos – Monessen, formerly of Donora

MONESSEN, FORMERLY OF DONORA Peter J. Kordistos, 70, of Monessen, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late James and Helen Costas Kordistos, he was born in North Charleroi on Dec. 9, 1954. Formerly of Donora, Peter had resided in Monessen for almost a year and was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Monessen and the Monessen Eagles 2399. Peter was also a member of the painter’s union and formerly worked at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Monessen. Survivors include one son, Zachary Kordistos of Monessen; two brothers, Cleon (Susan)
