Registration is now open for Westmoreland County Community College’s spring Continuing Education schedule that features more than 100 classes starting in February.
The spring schedule includes new classes for foodies including a “Mediterranean Mastery” series featuring Greek Sheet Pan Chicken (Feb. 1), Ham and Swiss Quiche (Feb. 22), Red Snapper with Creamy Creole Sauce (March 15) and Maple Dijon Pork Tenderloin with Apple Cider Sauce (April 26).
In addition, Kimchi Eggrolls (April 15) and Pierogis (May 17) are being offered for the first time this semester.
Designed for a caregiver and child, Talkin’ Toddlers (Feb. 6) class will introduce children to fun ways to work on sounds, words and toddler signs through fun activities, games and music. Caregivers will discover speech and language strategies to enhance the child’s overall communication development.
For ages 12 and older, 3D Printing (April 8) will offer an introduction to everything about 3D printing including materials and software needed as well as what to look for in a 3D printer. Participants will take home a fun trinket they designed.
Complementing the lineup are a variety of health and wellness classes including Strong Nation: Strong 30 (March 4), Zumba (March 17) and Walk Live (April 6), among others.
In addition, the college continues to offer classes for business and professional development, industry, computers, health care and emergency services, personal enrichment and public safety.
