Letters to the Editor policy
The editorial department of the Mon Valley Independent encourages letters to the editor. Letters must be no more than 500 words, must be in good taste and must include the author’s name, town of residence and telephone number for verification.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any letter for publication and to edit for grammar and length. Letters should be emailed to letterstotheeditor@yourmvi.com or mailed to: Letters to the Editor, Mon Valley Independent, 1719 Grand Blvd., Monessen, PA 15062.
All approved letters will be published within a reasonable time frame.
