Community dinner being held at Carnegie library
The Frosty Frolic ’25 Winter River Romp will take place Saturday at the Coal Center wharf, across from Lagerheads, Water Street, Coal Center.

Registration is $10 to plunge, $20 in additional sponsorships includes a free longsleeve T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for the most money raised, best costume and more.

The Carnegie Free Library of McKeesport, 1507 Library Ave., will host a community dinner at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome for a hot meal.

February activities scheduled for White Oak Senior Activities group
The White Oak Activities group will offer the following programs in February:
• Cardio drumming — 1 to 2 p.m., Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25
• Gentle exercise (free) — 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25
• Coffee hour — 9:30 to 11 a.m., Feb. 13 and 27
• Monthly meeting — 1 to 3 p.m., monthly meeting with topic of Your Money Matters- Identify Theft with Elizabeth Kocis All activities are held at the White Oak Community Center, 1798 Lower Heckman Road.
SOAR Chapter 15-7 to meet Tuesday
U.S. Steel Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees, SOAR, Chapter 15-7 will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Local 2227 USW Union Hall, 1301 Philip Murray Road, West Mifflin.
Guest speakers will be Sammi and Denise from Steel Strong Credit Union. They will discuss the credit union’s services.
Following the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer period. Members and anyone interested in the organization is welcome to attend.
Craft Night scheduled at Monongahela library
Craft Night will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Monongahela Area Library, 813 W. Main St., Monongahela.
A Valentine’s Day wreath, which can also transition into springtime, will be made. All materials will be provided. This craft workshop is for adults. The cost is $15 and registration is required. Call the library to register at 724-258-5409.
