Leona J. Indof, 86, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, in Wa s h ington Hospital. A daughter of the late Frank and Flore nce Miltz Krall, she was born on May 9, 1938. She lived most of her adult life in Belle Vernon, and belonged to the Polish Falcons, the Belle Vernon Moose, the Monessen Eagles and several bowling leagues. Leona was an avid bowler, and enjoyed polka dancing and spending time with her granddaughters and friends. She spent several years working as a secretary for Westinghouse, and worked at Stringhill’s Restaurant and Gabriel Brothers as well. Survivors include a son, Doug Indof and fiancée Lynn Rusnak of Belle Vernon; a daughter, Cindy Indof (Tom Hepple) of Columbia, S.C.; stepchildren, Frank Pyrdeck Jr., Steven Pyrdeck, Helen (Cathy) Reardon, Dianna Pyrdeck and Susan Pyrdeck; two grandchildren, Taylor (Caleb) Potter of Columbia, S.C., and Tabitha Hill of Columbia, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Margaret Krall of Wickhaven; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted partner of 20 years, Frank Pyrdeck, in 2008; a brother, Frank Krall Jr.; and her beloved dog, Max.
