Patricia Prentice – Monongahela
Patricia Prentice, 89, of Monongahela, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at St. Clair Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born May 16, 1935, in Monongahel a , daughter of the late William Staffen and the late Marie O’Hern Staffen. She was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. Patricia was an affectionate, dedicated, hardworking individual who always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She cherished her granddaughters, great-grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Prentice; a sister, Margaret Nagy; and a brother, William Staffen. Surviving to cherish her memory is her son, Leroy (Alice) Prentice; granddaughters, Heather (Joe) Bianchi of New Eagle and Allison (Adam) Mercer of Carroll Township; great-grandchildren, Liliana, Lee, Bently and Jordy; brother, Francis (Josephine) Staffen of Monongahela; also several nieces and nephews. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Donora campus.
