NAMI support group to meet Wednesday
The National Alliance on Mental Illness McKeesport Area Family Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Penn State Greater Allegheny, 4000 University Drive, Frable building room 122.
Dr. Amira Wolfson will give a presentation on PACE schools and providing individualized education with mental health, behavioral and autistic support services. There will be a question-and-answer period afterward, if time allows. The meeting is open to the public.

The Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Co., 10 Main St., Belle Vernon, will hold fish fries from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning Ash Wednesday and will continue each Friday of Lent including Good Friday.

Stockdale VFD to hold Lenten fish fries
Fish fries, dine-in or takeout, will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday and Fridays during Lent at the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department, 316 Railroad St. The menu will comprise fish sandwich, shrimp and fish-on-a-dish dinners, large cheese pizza or fish sandwich/fish-on-a-dish alone. Side orders available will include french fries, haluski, macaroni and cheese, small cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, pierogies, coleslaw.
A bake sale will also be held. Delivery will be available with a $30 minimum order. For advance-order takeout, call 724-938-3300. Last order will be taken at 6:30 p.m., or while supplies last.
Flamingo Legs fish fries to benefit Carroll Twp. VFD
Takeout fish Fridays will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday and each Friday through Lent, except Good Friday, at Flamingo Legs, 243 E. Main St., Monongahela.

White Oak Senior Activities group offering March activities
The White Oak Senior Activities group will hold the following events in March:
• “Move and Groove” — yoga, 11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; cardio drumming, 1 p.m. March 4, 11, 18, 25 and April 1; gentle exercise, 2:30 p.m. March 4.
• “Punch, Block, Balance,” — personal defense seniors’ class, 1 p.m. March 19 with instructor Joe Hoffman; diabetes class, 1 p.m. March 6, 13, 20 and 27 with instructor Elizabeth Kocis.
• “Mugs, meetings and music,” — coffee hour, 9:30 a.m. March 13 and 27; monthly meeting, 1 p.m., March 12 with entertainment by Brian Meehan, tenor vocalist.

California church to host monthly free dinner
The California United Methodist Church, 227 Third St., California, across from the Dairy Queen, will host its free monthly dinner on Wednesday in the social hall. The “Welcome Spring” dinner will be held at 6 p.m. The main entree will be vegetable and meat lasagna.
