Lillian June Ritchie – Monongahela
MONONGAHELA
Lillian June Ritchie, 93, of Monongahela, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 9, 2025. She was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Charleroi, the daughter of Francis Marion and Zelie Cecelia Pireaux Campbell. Lillian loved Jesus and was a woman of great faith. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church, where she was a Bible teacher and mentor, Sunday School teacher and youth leader. She was also involved in Vacation Bible School and the nursing home ministry. Lillian was the founder of the Ladies’ Fall Conferences, which she led for 19 years. Lillian was known for her hospitality, as her doors were always open. She loved cooking, especially making ravioli. She devoted her life to her family and friends. She is survived by four daughters, Becky (Bob) Holsopple of Monongahela, Cheryl (Ron) Lutes of Charleroi, Joy (Joe) Fafalios of Monongahela and Sandy (Ron) German of New York; nine grandchildren, Justin and Nathan Cottle, Nicholas (Catherine) Lutes, Jessica (Josh) Gauger, Jonathan (Nicole) Fafalios, Reggie and Nicholas German, Derek (Grace) German and Noah (Caitlyn) German; 15 great-grandchildren, Lilly, Gracie, Sylvie, Jaden, Levi, Emma, Aubrey, Judah, Zekie, Caleb, Gus, Gene, Finley, Johanna and Eden on the way; sister-in-law, Fran Campbell of Connellsville; and brotherin- law, Jiggs Ostrzycki of Alabama. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Augustine Ritchie Jr.; three brothers, Robert, Curt and Don Campbell; and two sisters, Carol Robison and Becky Ostrzycki. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025, with Ron German officiating. Burial will be private and will take place in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Calvary Bible Church, 990 4th St. Ext., Charleroi, PA 15022.
