Sara L. Singosky – Allenport
Sara L. Singosky, 92, of Allenport, went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2025, at home with her loving family by her side. Sara was born in Elco on Aug. 29, 1932, to the late Samuel and Ellen Baxter Bell. Sara was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church and loved going on trips with her church friends. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and cherished her vacations where she could enjoy time with her family, whom she loved dearly. Surviving to cherish Sara’s memory are her children, Diane Obitko, Joyce (Jim) Antoncic, Donna (George) Bright and Tommy (Shannon) Singosky; her grandchildren, Jordan (Natalie) Antoncic, Justin (Julie) Antoncic, Cheyenne Singosky, Peggy (Tony) Snyder, and Ross (Kerry) Singosky; her great-grandchildren, Michelle Antoncic, Dylan and Bailee Santo, Macie Bayles, Grayson Hickman and Emmett Singosky; her brotherin- law, Walter Wrublesky; and numerous nieces and nephews she loved as her own and who will always remember her as Aunt Sally. In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Thomas Singosky; her twin brother, Sam Bell; her sisters, Margret (Elijah) Gauden and Ellen Wrublesky; and her son-in-law, John Obitko. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2025, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. A funeral service will be held inside the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2025; doors will open at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center.
