The River Hill Church of Christ, 2105 River Hill Road, Monongahela (Forward Township), will hold a flea market and soup/bake sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Creative writing club to meet at Monongahela library on Saturday
Writers with a project they are determined to stick with and looking for feedback and a collaborative atmosphere, are invited to the next creative writing club meeting set for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Monongahela Area Library, 813 W. Main St., Monongahela. Participants help each other develop writing plans, work past creative blocks and improve their craft. All skill levels and genres are welcome.
Garibaldi society to hold homemade pasta dinner
The Belle Vernon Annita Garibaldi Society is sponsoring a takeout-only homemade pasta dinner from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. The dinner features noodles, sauce, meatballs, salad, bread and dessert. Pickup is at the Annita Garibaldi lodge at 320 Broad Ave., rear, Belle Vernon. A limited number of tickets are still available; $15 per ticket. Call Kathy at 412996-0775.
Annual Easter egg hunt set at Stockdale VFD
Roscoe American Legion 801 family and the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department will present a community Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. April 5 at the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department, 316 Railroad St., Stockdale. There will be 10,000-plus eggs with prizes being awarded. The event is open to the public and is for ages 12 and younger. The Easter Bunny will attend.
