Paul W. Kennedy – New Eagle
Paul W. Kennedy, 59, of New Eagle, passed away on March 25, 2025. Born in Monong ahela on Jan. 18, 1966, he was the son of the late Frank “Bud” and June Rathi Kennedy. Paul graduated from Ringgold High School in 1983 and attended Triangle Tech. He later opened Kennedy HVAC, where he worked until he joined the Ringgold School District maintenance department. He was currently employed in the maintenance department at Canon-Mac School District. Paul had a passion for working on and building cars, and he was a proud member of the Bona-Fide Car Club. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating with his family, and spending time riding his tractor around the yard. Paul looked forward to attending the Spring National Pike Steam, Gas and Horse Association events with his friends. In 2017 and 2024, Paul, along with his brothers, took donations, delivered food, and volunteered their time to help rebuild communities in Texas after Hurricane Harvey and in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. Paul was a selfless, generous man who never met a person he couldn’t and wouldn’t help. His life was fulfilled by helping those around him, and he loved everyone, never meeting a stranger. Paul’s helping spirit was infectious, and the only thing he loved more than helping others was his family. Paul is survived by his wife, Allison (Youmans) Kennedy, whom he married on Sept. 27, 1986; three daughters, Brianna (Drew) Guarino of New Eagle, Eilish (Tyler) Hufnagel of New Eagle, and Madison Kennedy (Cody Telegraphis) of Charleroi; four brothers, Kenneth F. “Skip” Kennedy (Patty) of Monongahela, Gary (Joyce) Kennedy of Monongahela, Gene R. (Tracy) Kennedy of Eighty Four, and David N. Kennedy of Canton, Ga.; two sisters, Kim M. Kennedy of Monongahela and Stacey L. (Tom) Gibson of Jamestown, Tenn.; five loving grandchildren, Griffin, Beau, Jackson, Emersyn and Olivia; a brother-in-law, Stephen (Donna) Hanford of King of Prussia; nieces, nephews, and many good friends. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Carroll Township Social Hall, 130 Baird St., Monongahela. A service and time of sharing will begin at 5 p.m. with Pastor Jude Urso officiating. Paul’s friends are encouraged to bring their classic cars and bikes to honor his life.
