Betty Jean Zenobi, 89, of Perryopolis, formerly of Monessen, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, in Jefferson Regional Hospital. She was born in Monessen on Dec. 22, 1935, daughter of the late Thomas and Iva McFall Steer. Betty was an active member of the former Baptist Church of Monessen. She graduated from Monessen High School with the Class of 1953. Betty presently worshiped at the “Bible Chapel” of Pricedale. Betty Jean Zenobi, 89, of Perryopolis, formerly of Monessen, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, in Jefferson Regional Hospital. She was born in Monessen on Dec. 22, 1935, daughter of the late Thomas and Iva McFall Steer. Betty was an active member of the former Baptist Church of Monessen. She graduated from Monessen High School with the Class of 1953. Betty presently worshiped at the “Bible Chapel” of Pricedale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic “Don” Zenobi; her grandson, Mark Zenobi; brother, Thomas Allen Steer; and sister, Nancy Layton. Surviving are two sons, Thomas A. Zenobi and John and wife Rachel Zenobi; three daughters, Donna and husband Steve Baciak, Toni and husband Kevin Post and Joyce and husband Jay Nicholls; 13 grandchildren, Dawn, Cynthia, Kevin, Stephen, Amy, Lisa, Raelyn, Alyssa, Anthony, Jacob, Rebecca, Zach and Ava; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday with noon the time of services.
